sick baby
We have been doing a lot of cuddling, comforting, and medicating in our house the last three days. Lincoln woke up at 1:30 in the morning on Monday burning up and has had a fever ever since, except for a few hours yesterday. I took him to the doctor this morning to make sure he didn't have an ear infection only to be told it's just a virus. Yuck. The doctor said he has a nasty sore throat, which would explain the screaming every time I try to get him to eat. Poor kid. The fever was gone tonight, but we'll see how he is in the morning. It's so sad to see him with his sad eyes just whining because he doesn't feel good. I hate being sick, but I'd take me being sick any day over watching him be sick. I hope he's on the mend.

that definitely is the worst. hope he gets feeling better! it's so fun how those motherly instincts come into play and all you want to do is hold and rock them... and nothing else matters. you're a great mom!
Poor guy, sick kids is so not fun for anyone. Hope he's feeling better soon.
Just pray it's not RSV! Brynn is doing better, but the hospitals were just packed. It is hard to see him so helpless isn't it. Hope it all goes away soon.
